There are a lot of fantastic dogs out there and over time we find that there are some that really start to dominate. Not naming names, but for years the Top bitch and a Westminster breed winner was in Colorado and it took a while, but Tolby eventually started winning over her, now he’s done it numerous times. He’s ended up being the top winner in the region recently and only appropriate that he won the Colorado Regional Specialty this year.
We have only faced off against the #1 Rhodesian Ridgeback and last year’s Westminster Winner a few times at specialties, but this last weekend he was at the Evergreen Kennel Club shows in Colorado. He did beat our boy twice, but Tolby took the Best of Breed on Sunday under Judge Rosalind Kramer. I think his fantastic side gait helped him take it home.
Tolby has notched dozens and dozens of victories over ridgebacks ranked in the Top 5, 10 and 25. He will be at the National Specialty next month in Topeka to represent again amongst the best.
